Teaching Philosophy
I believe that teaching is most effective through building relationships with my students. No matter what I am teaching, I want them to know I care about my students and their success. I want each student to know that they are meant for great things, and it is my job to build them up so they feel capable. In my classroom, mistakes are looked at as effort and showing that my students want to learn.

Classroom Management Philosophy
The classroom management style that I exemplify the most is the Love and Logic approach. Students in my classes can express themselves in ways that they feel most comfortable, as long as it does not create problems for anyone else. I will have an open door policy for every student and will make time for any student that has a problem or just wants to talk. The relationships built will be authentic, because if my students know I am telling them the truth and being real with them, the expectations and rules will be followed exceptionally.
